Art class project

Hi again,

The assignment I got last week was to go back to some places I had already been. So I decided to go back to the tree first.

I actually only like one picture of this week, but you cannot see we're at the tree. But here it is:

Oh yeah, remember that this week is not really this week, the photo's are from may 19th. The photo's from 'last week' were from april 14th, 'cause I had a testweek at school (which didn't go that well.) They're so old because I forgot to post 'm back then, but I still want to share them with you guys. So 'next week' is not really 'next week.' I'll put dates above every post to make it clear :)

Art class project

Hi everyone,

So, as allways, I'm not that good at posting every week, I'm really sorry. I was so busy with school and all my hobbies outside school and I keep forgetting my blog! Just as I keep forgetting to check my e-mail. So I'll tell you what you have missed but I'll update my artclass project photo's first. :) (which has already finished)

So, the last photo's I have posted were the windmill photo's. The week after that I wasn't really inspired but I love to photograph outside because of the light I guess. Somewhere near my house there is a path with trees which I really love. Romy and I went there and this is the result:



As you can see these are not my best photo's ever. They are not bad, but the sun was to bright so there's to much light in the pictures. On these photo's, Romy is wearing her selfmade dress which I think is really great. I also love her shoes by the way.

Every Dutch girl climbs windmills, right?

Hi guys!

Yesterday I promised to post more photo's, so here they are. I went shopping with my friend Monique and bought some new clothes:
- Blue shorts, the Garden Collection - H&M
- White top with flowers, the Garden Collection - H&M
- Red and white striped top - H&M
- Grey/purple skirt - H&M

Of course I had to make pictures, so I climbed a windmill. I had to do a photoshoot with Romy anyways.
On this picture I'm wearing my grey/purple skirt as you can see. I love the blue sky btw! It was really a beautiful day.

On the picture below you can see the red/white striped top and the blue shorts.


I don't really have a great picture of the other top I've bought, but here's one anyways.



I've also bought new shoes, I found pictures on the internet so that's easy. Here they are:




























I bought these shoes in Utrecht, when I was there I also bought 2 fabrics. I'm going to make a one-shoulder dress and a new skirt, but I'm making a jumpsuit right now. That reminds me, I still didn't post pictures of my self made LBD and skirt. :O I do have photo's of my LBD but they suck, so I'll make new one's soon.

Art class project

So, I told you about my art class project, I have to make pictures of a friend. The assignment is called 'Portret of a Friend.' And since I promissed to post the pictures I made, I'm going to do that right now. Isn't that great? ;)

I'll do it in one post, 'cause we've passed week 6 already.

Week 1 is not really spectacular, but I'll show you anyways.

So I like this picture, but the rest of the shoot wasn't really that much. I made pictures of 2 other friends too, but I chose to continue with Romy so I only show you her pictures. This week was more like a test-week.

Week 2


In week 2 I continued making pictures of Romy. We did this shoot at her house and I experimented with light and backgrounds. I like the first picture most, I love the contrast of the light and shadow on her face.

Week 3


This week I photographed on the rooftop of our school. It wasn't really my idea, it was the idea of a teacher who saw us photographing. So he took us to the roof of our schoolbuilding. It was a really nice shoot, the wind was great. I love the first photo, it's just a perfect shot. I love the blazer that she's wearing btw.

Week 4



This week I had to experiment with light, so I photographed in de sun, with the flashlight on my camera and under a streetlamp. These are some of the pictures I like the most. I like to work with sunlight or spots, but I really hate the flashlight. So I didn't post the pictures with flashlight, they were kind of lame.

Week 5


In week 5 we climbed a tree, this was Romy's idea. She showed me the tree and I loved it right away, so we started our shoot. I was quite funny to see people looking at the tree and not understanding why there were legs hanging out of it. It was a really fun shoot to do, and I have to do it again, my teacher said that she wanted to see more pictures in the tree. I still have to do that shoot, because we did another shoot first.

Week 6


Well, as you see, we discovered a new hobby: climbing things. This week we climbed a windmill, first only the stairs, but after a while, Romy wanted to climb the wings of the windmill. Romy wanted to have a shoot with windmills after she looked at an apisode of ANTM, and I really like the result. I climbed the windmill and the tree too, but I'll post those pictures later. I really have to do my homework right now!

New clothes

Hi again,

So, I went shopping with Romy on saturday in a city near ours, Breda. It's allways nice to go shopping there, 'cause there are a lot more stores then in Roosendaal.

It was quite an adventure actually, but I'll start were we started.

We went with the bus 'cause it's way cheaper then traveling with the train, but it's slow traveling, so we arrived in an hour, I think it was 9.45 am, so shops like Zara hadn't opened yet. Nothing interesting happened actually. I bought a new dress at H&M and a matching hairband. I also bought tights, they're blue with dots and blue with stripes and I really love 'm! I'll post a picture of them later, because I haven't had time to make it yet. I do have a picture of my new dress and hairband, which you can see on the left. It's not really a pretty picture, but you can see my dress and that's what it's all about. ;)

So, let's continue with the adventure-part. I was in the free-record shop to buy a dvd. After that we went to Ici Paris and Douglas, and when I got at Douglas I saw the parfume I wanted since forever (DKNY - Be Dilicious) and it was on sale! It also included a bodylotion in the same scent so I was like 'I HAVE to buy it right now!' So then I wanted to grab my wallet out of my purse, and it wasn't there anymore :| I kind of freaked out while still standing in the store in front of the lady who was helping me. Well, I had checked all of my bags but it really wasn't there, and so I called my mom and she called the bank to block my card. So that looked like the end of our shopping day (it was 16.00 pm anyways) so we went to the busstop to wait for our bus. and 2 minutes before it arrived, the police of Breda called me on my cell to tell me my wallet was waiting for me at the police-office. Then we walked to the police-office and got my wallet and luckily everything was still in there. But now my card is still blocked and I'll get a new one at the end of the week, but it really sucks 'cause I can't buy anything right now. :( But I got some good news too, my dad is going to get me the parfume, because he works in Brada :) I'll have to pay for it myself but at least I got the parfume! I really love parfume btw, I decided to collect it. I already got some nice parfumes.

But, to bad, I have to stop now 'cause I'm kind of tired, I want to sleep! it's 22.45 pm over here and I still have to do some homework.

Who I am

Well, let's start with introducing myself. My name is Lisanne and I'm from Holland. I'm 17 years old. I have a lot of hobbies, like dancing, acting, playing the piano, sewing clothes, singing and of course shopping. I love shopping, especially with my friends Romy & Nicole. Romy also has a blog and it's really cool! You can check it out sometime. It's called my fashion fairytales. :)

I'm not quite sure what my blog is going to be about, but I guess it'll be about clothes and stuff. I'll keep you updated about what clothes I made myself and what I bought. I also like making pictures of friends, and since I have to make new pictures every week for an asignment at school, I'll post some pictures that I made too.

Why I called my blog the girl with the red shoes? I don't really know why, but I've always had red shoes. I had it since I was a little girl, and I still got red shoes. But this blog is not about my red shoes, that wouldn't be interesting at all. But if you want to know, I have beautiful red boots with heels. they're really pretty. I'll post a picture of them, but I don't have one yet so you'll just have to wait. I also have red all-stars, and even my sport shoes are red. I had red ballet pumps too, but let's just say they died a few years ago. They were nice, though.

Well it's time to go, I have a lot of homework to do actually!
